Information you choose to provide
When you call, email, or use the estimate form, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, project city or address, service interest, site information, preferred contact method, and project details. The form sends that information to the website server for spam screening and email delivery. The website does not intentionally save a separate copy of the submission in a local customer database.
Server and hosting records
The hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, date, time, referring page, and error information for security, reliability, and diagnostics. Nichols Construction reviews the privacy terms and security practices of its hosting provider.
Spam screening and email delivery
Estimate-form submissions are screened by CleanTalk before delivery. CleanTalk may receive the visitor IP address, name, email address, message content, browser and referrer information, submission timing, and a browser-generated event token to identify automated or abusive activity. Approved submissions are sent through SMTP2GO, which receives the sender and recipient information, subject, message content, and delivery metadata needed to transmit the email to Nichols Construction. These providers process information under their own privacy and security terms.
Cookies, browser signals, and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to help Nichols Construction understand website traffic and how visitors use the site. Google Analytics may collect information such as device and browser details, approximate location, pages viewed, referring pages, and interaction data, and may use cookies or similar technologies. CleanTalk also uses browser and technical interaction signals for anti-spam screening. Nichols Construction does not use the website form to request sensitive financial, medical, or identity information.
Google Maps and external services
Embedded Google Maps and links to external websites are provided for convenience. Those services may receive technical information under their own privacy policies. Nichols Construction does not control third-party websites.
How contact information may be used
Information supplied directly may be used to respond to questions, evaluate a project, prepare an estimate, schedule communication, maintain project records, prevent spam or abuse, protect the business, and comply with legal obligations. Nichols Construction does not sell submitted contact information as a standalone mailing list.
Data security and retention
No website, spam-screening service, or email system can guarantee absolute security. The website endpoint does not intentionally create a local database record of each submission, but hosting logs, CleanTalk records, SMTP2GO delivery records, and the delivered email may be retained for security, delivery, business, project, accounting, insurance, legal, and customer-service needs. Sensitive financial, identity, medical, or access-code information should not be submitted through the website.
